A "sitting duck" shoot here in Lancang of this beautiful bird in the wee morning last month. You can shoot from behind the hide screen at low speed 1/8s at low ISO as the bird perch quite motionless in long period.
As for me never bother to look into that. I shoot in auto mode.I am a Lazy bird photog I guess.
